Unicode block types of Latin extended B
The Latin Extended-B Unicode block (U+0180–U+024F) contains characters used by many different languages, including African and Oceanic languages, Central European and Eastern European Languages, and some historic scripts. This Unicode range includes supplemental letters with diacritics (such as Ɓ, Ɔ, Ǝ), phonetic symbols and punctuation marks. These characters have been used in various languages such as Esperanto, Turkish, and Welsh.
Numerous diacritics are used in several languages that use the Latin script, such as Vietnamese. They are consequently assigned to various Unicode blocks. For instance, the Latin Extended-A block (U+0100-U+017F) and Latin Extended-B block (U+0180-U+024F) are both used in the Vietnamese alphabet.
